A Nutrific Twist on a South African classic
375g Room Temperature Butter
3 tbsp Golden Syrup
155g of Oats
75g of crumbled Nutrific (4 biscuits)
300g of Cake Flour
220g of Desicated Coconut
280g of Sugar
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and set aside.
In a microwave proof bowl add the golden syrup and butter and microwave for short bursts until the butter has melted.
Combine your warm butter mixture with your dry ingredients until well combined.
Grease a baking tray and roll the mixture evenly onto the baking tray.
Bake for 25 – 30 minutes being sure to keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
Once cooked, remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before cutting into your preferred sizes.
Enjoy anytime as a perfect time-out snack.
